Depending on the scope of the job and size of the home or office, 1 or 2 cleaners will be assigned to a job. Occasionally more cleaners may be needed due to the complexity of work, time restrictions on site, or new employee training. We do our best to provide the same cleaner(s) for recurring cleanings or upon request.
Right to Terminate Service
We reserve the right to deny and/or terminate any service due, but not limited to, safety concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations, weapons on premises, severe clutter, and disconnected utilities. Our employees may choose to leave if the home is in extremely unsanitary condition or they feel unsafe or threatened. If a cleaning is booked online and is considered unreasonable, the cleaners may refuse service upon arrival and a cancellation fee will be charged.
When scheduling cleaning appointment(s), we require that a card be kept on file. The card kept on file will not be charged until payment is due. Payment is due day of cleaning. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. Cancellation fees and returned check fees will be charged to the card on file unless another form of payment is provided.
Checks that come back returned will be subject to a $50 fee.
Prices are based on information provided by clients either over the phone, in person, or via our website. Quotes given over the phone or online are based on our experience and information provided.
Mega Clean Services NW strongly recommends having an in-person estimate done to receive a more accurate quote. If no in-person estimate is done, Mega Clean may adjust the price upon arrival if the condition of the site requires more time. If the customer is not available on arrival, we will make every attempt to reach you. However, if we are unable to reach the client and approve the new cost our cleaners will leave, and our cancellation policy will apply.
Mega Clean Services NW reserves the right reevaluate and increase prices based on the time needed to meet our clients expected standards and the condition of the home. We will always call and confirm the revised price first. If the revised price is not accepted our cleaners will leave and our cancellation policy will apply.
Recurring Service Discount
Recurring service discount begins AFTER the first cleaning. If a cleaning is cancelled and not rescheduled or the frequency of cleanings is lessened, the cost of cleanings will increase to reflex the new frequency.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
We understand life happens. If an appointment needs to be cancelled and/or rescheduled for any reason, we require 48 hours’ notice. If cancellation is made less than 48 hours in advance a $70 cancellation fee will apply.
We will be closed for business when weather conditions prevent Snohomish County & King County School Districts from opening. In the event of inclement weather all cleanings will be rescheduled with at no additional charge.
Mega Clean Services NW does not schedule cleanings on holidays. If a scheduled day falls on a holiday, the client will be contacted to reschedule.

Satisfaction Guarantee Policy & Re-Cleans
We strive to provide our clients with the highest quality cleaning service available, however we realize that areas may accidentally be missed or not cleaned to the standard our clients expect. Should this occur, please reach out to us via phone or email within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will correct the error free of charge.
Clients may opt to provide a key for Mega Clean Services NW to access their property without being onsite. All keys are coded and stored inside a locked cabinet. Only managers have access to the lock box and all keys must be checked in and out with a manager.
If a client chooses to leave a door unlocked or place a key under a mat or in any other unsecured place for the cleaners to gain entry into the home, Mega Clean Services NW will not be held liable for any damages or theft to the client home.
Upon termination/cancellation of services, Mega Clean Services NW shall return any client key(s) in its possession no later than 48 hours after termination of services or the next business day.
Client shall make the service location accessible to Mega Clean Services NW personnel on the scheduled service day. If the team is locked out of Client’s home, every effort will be made to establish contact with Client to arrange for entry into the home. If we are unable to make contact 20 minutes after arriving on site, the appointment will be considered cancelled and our cleaners will leave. Should this occur our cancellation policy will apply.
If your home has an alarm system and you will not be onsite to disarm the alarm, please either have the alarm disarmed at the time of arrival or provide the code and disarm instructions for our cleaners. In the event the alarm is not disarmed, no code is provided, or the code is changed, and we are not informed, Mega Clean Services NW and its employees are not responsible for any charges charged due to a dispatch caused by the alarm being trigged.
Day of Cleaning
We base the cost of cleanings on information provided by customers either in person, over the phone, or via our website. Clutter and/or furniture left in areas that are to be cleaned, per the clients provided information, inhibits our cleaners’ abilities to complete the job. We ask that on the day of your scheduled cleaning that sinks, counters, tables, floors, closet floors (if requested to be cleaned), etc. be cleared of clutter. Clearing away clutter is considered out of scope of work and our cleaners are not responsible for areas not cleaned due to clutter being left out.
Cleaners Arrival Window
All cleanings are scheduled to allow for our cleaners to focus on each site without having to rush as well as adequate travel time between clients. Our cleaners make every effort to arrive on site within no more that 10 minutes of scheduled time. If a specific time is requested, we will make every effort to accommodate that request, however, no times are guaranteed.
Due to the unpredictable nature of our business, unforeseen circumstances such as traffic jams, weather, mechanical problems, or employee availability, Mega Clean reserve the right to maintain flexibility of scheduling cleanings between 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
In the event that our cleaners are running more than 30 minutes later than the scheduled appointment time, clients will receive a phone call or text message. If our cleaners are running an hour or more behind, we offer the option of rescheduling your cleaning for no additional charge.
We provide the equipment & products needed to thoroughly clean your home. We do our best to use green and non-harsh cleaners on surfaces that your family and pets may come into contact with. If a home requires use of special cleaning products, whether for health, personal, or any other reason, the client is required to provide the required cleaner. Please make sure all cleaning products are ready to be used when our cleaners arrive. Mega Clean Services NW is not responsible for any damage associated with those products.
Unreachable Areas & Heavy items
For safety and liability reasons our cleaners cannot climb higher than a step stool. Cleaners cannot move objects more than 35 pounds. If a client would like cleaning behind heavy objects, they will need to be moved prior to cleaning.
Items We Cannot Clean
Dishes and laundry are outside of our scope of cleaning. Our cleaners do not run loads or laundry, fold and put away laundry, load, run, and unload dishwasher, nor hand wash and dry dishes.
Outside windows, above the first level of the home, and skylights are outside the scope of cleaning.
Mold removal is a specialty cleaning service and is not performed by Mega Clean Services NW and are not liable for any mold-related risks in client’s homes.
Mega Clean Services NW does not services homes that are hoarding homes or areas with in a home containing any animals & humans body fluids, such as, but not limited to blood, urine, feces, vomit, and other excretions. We do not clean litter boxes, pet cages, crates, or tanks. Our cleaners are not responsible for picking up and disposing of any animal excrements around pet cages, crates, or tanks.
We do work in homes with pets. We ask that for the safety of both your pets and our cleaners, that all pets be kept in a safe and secure location during the time that our cleaners will be onsite. If pets have been confined to an area that cleaning has been request our cleaners will not service that room and no refund nor discount will be issued.
If pets are left to freely roam the premises, whether the owner is present or not, Mega Clean Services NW reserve the right to remove our employees from the site for safety reasons. In the case that this does occur our cancellation policy will apply.
Breakage/Damage & Loss Policy
While an occurrence is rare, the possibility of breakage or damage is present while we clean.
Our cleaners exercise reasonable care when cleaning a site and Mega Clean carries insurance for damage or breakage caused by our cleaners.
Mega Clean is not liable for damage that is caused by normal wear & tear, improper installation of an item in your home, artwork, collectibles, or family heirlooms not disclosed during the booking process. These items include but are not limited to the following:
Artwork, collectibles, and family heirlooms that are expensive and impossible to replace. Clients should point out such items to our cleaners before service begins or during the time of an onsite estimate.
Clients should provide information on how fragile and valuable items should be handled and cared for. If there are any items that our cleaners should not touched but are within an area that needs to be cleaned, the client is responsible for removing and properly storing those items prior to service. If the item(s) are not moved our cleaners will not clean that area.
In the event that there is any damage, breakage, or loss, notification must be made within 24 hours. Mega Clean Services NW will make every effort to replace damaged, broken, or lost items with an identical replacement, however an identical replacement cannot be guaranteed.
Non-Solicitation of Mega Clean Services NW Employees
By scheduling and accepting serviced from Mega Clean Services NW, clients agree not to solicit for hire any of our cleaning employees to work directly for you. Our professional cleaners are background checked and have completed a comprehensive cleaning training. Significant time, resources, and money are invested in each new employee before they are allowed to services clients homes without supervision. If our cleaners report a client has attempted to solicit their services, this will be considered a breach of contract and services will be cancelled and any and all fees will apply.
Any claim relating to Mega Clean Services NW website shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Mega Clean has made every effort to design our website to be useful, informative, and helpful.
